home ac into auto?
Nam N asked:
Can I power a 110V portable or window ac unit into my car with one single charge of a 12V DC car battery (using a power invertor) without a generator or similar power source to trickle-charge the battery throughout the day?

NO.
Most home AC are at minimum 800 watts or more. You alternator only puts out about 800 watts (that that has to power everything, headlights, radio, etc.)
The only thing you can you on a car is a car AC.
Good Luck…
