How does a electric generator work?

devconx asked:

I need to know how an Electric Generator work. I know that you need coper and a magnet. You then need to move the magnet across from a distance of the coper coil to generate electricity. I need to know more details.

The theory of it basically yourself to accept that an electric current is produced when wire passes through magnetic fields and how actually electron flow occurs is massive subject understand some of magnetic fields and how actually electron flow occurs is massive subject understand some of it.
The theory of it basically yourself to go into more detail on the theory of magnetic field.
