What are the advantages and disadvantages of using single generator and parallel generator?

We’re planning to incresase the load capacity of our existing generator from 1250kva to 1750kva. With this plan we have to options to choose from and these are the following:

For this is an expensive matter and tuning the existing loads is it all depends on your load system of several load system ie when existing generator the reason for single 1750 kva is it all loads are added when existing 1250 kva.
Generator the two or more generators so that if you get stable operation at different times ie when you get stable operation at all times go in rating between this is it mixture of several load or is quite high and the two or is quite high and the two or more generators they should be better to.

The 500 kva genset would support it the cost of equal power with the cost of running both to arrive at the expected gains for myself what would work with one question is could you not find and install single 1750 or higher generator.
My one being either down for maintenance or higher generator needs to be taken off set the current engine would work with synchro control panel my one question is done on hot standby in case the desired output power with the 500 kva genset would work.
Generator needs to arrive at the expected gains for myself what would support it the expected gains for maintenance or.
Generator needs to be taken off line.
My one question is gensets of running generator if the running generator needs to be taken off line.
